Guild Wars 1 still getting updated when Guild Wars 2 gets released? - Guild Wars Forums

I'm wondering, will Guild Wars 1 (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall and the new expansion) still get updated when Guild Wars 2 arrives? And will people still play Guild Wars 1?

About the updates, yes they will continue to be done, as Anet will dedicate a team to GW1. About the people, I don't know. Personnaly I'll leave my characters there,and whenever I feel like playing with them, they will be there waiting for me!

When GW2 is around i expect that i'll be playing GW1 as much as i do now.

I dont expect to play gw2 at all if they change the movement....so I am sure there will be lots of people still here with me. Hope they do updates and events since all of our characters we love are here as well.
